Service Ministries
The Service Ministry encompasses the various auxiliaries and committees that provide both spiritual and practical services to our members and community. Below are the service ministries available at BMBC.
Deacon Board
Deacons were called to the early church to serve tables. Deacons of Broadview Missionary Baptist Church are called to assist the pastor in the spiritual and moral affairs of the church. This ministry is involved in: teaching Bible classes, visiting the sick and shut-ins, and serving communion to those who request it on a monthly basis. The Deacon Ministry sponsors a complete worship service at local nursing homes (check with the office for location, dates, and times).

1. Assist in carrying out the two ordinances of the Church (Baptism and Lord's Support)
a. Helping baptismal candidates prepare for baptism
b. Preparing the Lord's Supper for distribution at our Communion Service
2. Additionally, we are to serve as role models and teachers to the young women as we are instructed in Titus 2:3-5.

Announcing Ministry
Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Acts 20:28
Announcements are an integral part of BMBC’s ministry as its purpose is to provide the congregation with detailed information concerning designated church-sponsored activities, events, and programs. The Ministry also informs the church of its members who are hospitalized in addition to those who have passed away. It allows our members to be informed of the whereabouts of members who need to be reached out to in their time of need.
