Broadview Missionary Baptist Church is excited to announce the launch of a new outreach and legal ministry – a Gospel Justice Center pioneered by Administer Justice.

Administer Justice is a Christian legal aid organization with a singular mission – to empower neighbors in need with the help of a lawyer and the hope of God’s love through the home of the church. With the vision of opening 300 new Gospel Justice Centers by 2025, Administer Justice has already opened legal clinics that have transformed the lives of over 3,000 people in the name of Christ in Illinois, Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Honduras and more. To learn more about Administer Justice, its mission, and current locations, please visit https://www.administerjustice.org/.

The Gospel Justice Center at Broadview Missionary Baptist Church (BMBC) is a holistic, compassionate team of individuals who care about God’s heart for justice. By convening once per month to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God,” volunteer attorneys demonstrate the Gospel in action. (Micah 6:8)  These attorneys will be available to provide legal counsel to BMBC members and the local community on critical daily life issues such as safety, stability, housing, family, basic contracts, and financial issues.

The Gospel Justice Center is led by a team of diverse individuals who are able to address the legal, social, and spiritual needs of the community. The team is led by a Justice Champion who coordinates roles and communicates impact. A Prayer Champion supports clients and volunteers in prayer while coordinating the creation of personal prayer cards.

The team is further supported by Community Advocates who conduct outreach into the local neighborhood to raise awareness of legal aid services available, Interpreters who provide language assistance, and Client Advocates who address the social and spiritual needs of clients through resource coaching. Client Intake Specialists use their gifts of administration to keep track of all information in a secure cloud-based system.

The Gospel Justice Center also offers complementary childcare led by Hospitality Specialists to accommodate the busy schedules of parents and reduce the financial burden of participation.

Finally, Follow-Up Advocates continue to assist clients post-consultation to ensure they overcome any barriers to implementing the plan set forth by the client and their assigned Attorney.

The BMBC Gospel Justice Center will serve clients on the second Saturday of each month (except January) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Appointments are available for BMBC members and the community at a $30 copay. During these 45-minute consultation sessions, volunteer licensed attorneys will be available to assess client needs and create a Next Steps plan that empowers clients on the path toward resolution through the lens of the Bible and restorative justice. Clients experiencing financial hardship may request a copay waiver by emailing: BroadviewMBC@administerjustice.net.

To book a consultation, clients can visit this link or call toll-free at (855) 818-4554.

We are blessed to have a team of committed volunteers working together to serve our church family and neighbors in need.  Praise the Lord!
