Counseling Ministry

This ministry seeks to support and restore individuals socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The counseling ministry focuses on a variety of areas. BMBC members interested in serving in this ministry must be screened to determine their area of training and how they might complement the ministry. Available counseling ministries are listed below.

Crisis Intervention Ministry

The Crisis Intervention Ministry also referred to as the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) provides services, guidance, and resources through the church to support its members, individuals, and groups in the community (school systems, designated neighborhoods, families) who are involved in a tragedy, accident or catastrophe. Support is provided through four teams C.I.T Evacuation, Disaster, and Catastrophe, Grief, and Resource and Referral Teams.

Marriage Ministry

The Marriage Ministry creates a community that will instruct, direct, support, and provide fellowship to mold successful Christian marriages. The goal of the Marriage Ministry is to offer Marriage Enrichment Programs directed toward spiritual growth, relationship building, maintaining, and strengthening Christian marriages and fellowship.

A class for married and engaged couples. Learn or confirm how marriage was designed and how you can experience the relationship God meant for married people to share.

Singles Ministry

The Single Ministry is designed to support and encourage individuals in the church body to lead a joyful
Christ-centered life. Those eligible to participate are individuals who:

  • Have never married, divorced, widowed, single parents, but excluding those who are separated but still legally married.
  • Are 21 years of age or older.

Health Ministry

The Health Ministry is a faith approach to provide for the health needs of the church from a medical perspective. The ministry supports the well-being of its members and the local community.

Substance Abuse Recovery Ministry

This ministry is dedicated to helping people enslaved to addictive drugs or other chemicals that lead to detrimental physical and mental health. We believe that Jesus is a deliverer for those that seek Him.

Anyone suffering from the ungodly effects of alcohol, narcotics, or prescription drugs is welcome to attend our weekly group meetings.
